5.1 Pulse output
The following information must be marked on a nameplate or made accessible through other means:
- Number of pulses per unit of measurement or the measured quantity per input pulse;
- Maximum frequency;
- Type and amplitude of output signal or contact rating (e.g. "form C" or "form A").
5.2 Pulse input
The following information must be marked on a nameplate or made accessible through other means:
- Type of input signal;
- Minimum and maximum input voltage (as applicable);
- Maximum frequency of input signal;
- The number of pulses corresponding to a unit of measured quantity or the number of measured units corresponding to one input pulse;
- Connection diagram (does not need to be readily visible).
