The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) has published new information products to assist consumers in making informed decisions when seeking assistance to resolve serious financial difficulties.
This information includes:
- A new web page for consumers, What is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee?, which provides information and answers to frequently asked questions about the role of a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) and the assistance an LIT is authorized to provide.
- Five insolvency-related videos to help consumers better understand the insolvency process and the insolvency options that are available to them:
Licensed Insolvency Trustees are invited to share this content with clients and stakeholders as appropriate to support public awareness of the new regulatory designation.
