Transcription du vidéoclip sommaire 2010-2011

Ladies and gentlemen, madames et monsieurs, none of us would be here today were it not for a few excellent teachers who helped to guide and inspire us to be our very best from a very early age, which is what makes today’s event so special.

It’s a pleasure to be here in my role as a leader of the government in the House of Commons, representing Prime Minister Harper today. Today is of course World Teacher’s Day. L’éducation est indissociable de l’amour. Education is impossible without love. And you can see that those great teachers love teaching.

As a Canadian Space Agency Astronaut, I have been privileged to see the world from a unique perspective. But I can honestly say that I may never have had these out-of-the-world opportunities were it not for some very special teachers.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Certificate of Excellence recipients of the 2010/2011 Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Early Childhood Education.

Les lauréats et lauréates du Certificat d’excellence des Prix du Premier ministre pour l’excellence en éducation de la petite enfance 2010-2011, and a warm congratulations to all of you for the tremendous recognition of your outstanding efforts.

C’est pourquoi je suis fier d’être ici aujourd’hui pour présenter ce prix pour l’enseignement des sciences spatiales à un enseignant qui a su inspirer les élèves sur les merveilles et les possibilités de l’espace.
