Legislative Rulings and Interpretations

The consultation period begins on March 9^th, 2010 and ends on April 7^th, 2010.

This consultation initiative would be of primary interest to all those who own, operate or play a role in the design, development or programming, installation, inspection or maintenance of volumetric metering systems and software intended for use in the Canadian marketplace and subject to the Weight and Measures Legislation.

The new Volume Bulletin is intended to provide uniform interpretation, relevant information and a new platform for providing guidance on specific sections of the Weights and Measures Legislation.

Measurement Canada invites interested parties and Industry stakeholders to participate in this consultation process and provide general comments respecting the new bulletin. Your comments on the proposed bulletin should be submitted in writing to the undersigned by April 7^th, 2010.
