Corporations Canada wishes to inform you that on March 8, 2005, the amendments to sections 70 and 71 of the Canada Business Corporations Regulations, 2001 came into force. The regulatory amendments allow corporations incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act who are also registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to file financial statements and auditor's reports using the US generally accepted auditing principles (GAAP).
